“When we deny our stories, they define us. When we own our stories, we get to write a brave new ending.”
Brene Brown

Stories are powerful. The ones that have been told to us, the ones we tell others, and the ones we tell ourselves. The counseling room is the sacred space where stories are told, explored, healed, and redeemed.

I have a passion for seeing men and women set free, so they can step into who they were truly called to be: alive and whole. I believe that we all hunger for a reality and depth to our lives that only Christ provides.

I work with individuals, couples, and groups, specializing in sexual abuse, childhood trauma, sexual addiction, eating disorders and spiritual issues. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech. I regularly facilitate and speak at retreats on topics ranging from addiction to trauma and personal growth. I have over twenty years of experience working with individuals on their journey to wholeness in both professional and community settings, including private practice, residential treatment centers, churches, and elementary schools.

I am trained in EMDR, an evidence-based therapy for treating trauma. I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, receiving my certification from the International Institute for Trauma & Addiction Professionals. Additionally, I am Qualified Supervisor for those seeking licensure as mental health counselors in Florida.
